Cleansers
Purifying Gel Cleanser suits oilier, congested skin and rinses clean. Gentle Cream Cleanser and Phyto-Active Enzyme Cream Cleanser are the softer options for drier or reactive skin, and the ones to reach for in the first days after an in-clinic treatment. Hydra-Bright AHA Cleanser and GlyPro AHA Resurfacing Cleanser build alpha hydroxy acids into the cleanse itself, which suits settled skin rather than skin that has recently been resurfaced. Hydra-Bright Polishing Cleanser adds a gentle physical polish. Clinisept+ Skin and the Gentle Makeup Remover Wipes round the category out.
Where to start
Not sure which? A cream or gel cleanser morning and night is the safe default. Bring in an acid cleanser only once your skin is settled and tolerating it.
Glo Skin Beauty cleansers, curated by the clinicians at The London Road Clinic in Newark, Nottinghamshire, cover gel, cream, enzyme and acid formats, so you can match the cleanse to your skin type and to where you are in a course of treatment. It's the same first step we set up in clinic, available to carry on at home.

Frequently asked
Which cleanser should I use after a treatment?
A gentle, acid-free cream or gel cleanser with lukewarm water, until your skin has calmed down. Leave exfoliating and AHA cleansers out until it has. Our aftercare guides set out what to use and when for each treatment we offer.
Do I need to double cleanse?
Only if you wear makeup or SPF, in which case a first pass to lift it and a second to clean the skin makes sense. On a bare-faced morning, one cleanse is plenty.
Can I use an acid cleanser every day?
Many people can, but build up to it. Start two or three times a week alongside your usual cleanser and see how your skin responds. If it feels tight or looks pink, drop back.
