Clinic-curated skincare

Glo Skin Beauty

The skincare we reach for in clinic. The same skincare worth using at home.

Almost everyone asks the same thing, usually near the end of an appointment: what should I be using at home? It is the right question. The work done in clinic and the work done at the bathroom sink are one project, separated only by who is holding the bottle.

Glo is the brand the clinical team stocks here, because it is the brand they already use. Formulated for professional treatment rooms since 1999, and for its first 25 years sold only through clinics, never the high street.

Bio - Renew EGF Cream - Glo Skin Beauty UK&I

Glo Skin Beauty is a professional skincare brand, formulated since 1999 for use in clinics and medispas. It is stocked at the online shop of The London Road Clinic in Newark, Nottinghamshire, and selected by the clinical team to support the results of in-clinic skin treatment. The range is organised by skin concern, from pigmentation and sensitivity to texture, hydration and laxity.

The formulation standard

Formulated for treatment rooms, not shelves.

Glo Skin Beauty has formulated for professional use since 1999. For its first 25 years the range was sold only through clinics and medispas, never pharmacies or department stores. That matters, because a brand built in treatment rooms is shaped by people who see the results in front of them, week after week.

The formulas are built around active ingredients at concentrations meant to work, rather than at the minimum needed to print a claim on the carton. Vitamin C, retinol, niacinamide, the alpha and beta hydroxy acids: present at levels a professional would expect, in delivery systems designed to carry them into the skin rather than sit on top of it.

Twenty-five years of clinic-only distribution is its own kind of testing. The products that stayed in the range are the ones that held up next to peels and injectables, on real skin, judged by practitioners who had nothing to gain from flattering them.

Why the clinic stocks Glo

The test was never which brand markets best. It was which products we would be comfortable handing a patient three days after a peel.

When the clinical team decided which skincare to bring into the clinic, the brief was narrow and practical. Which products would they recommend in the week between polynucleotide sessions, or to skin still settling after a peel. Which ones behave predictably alongside in-clinic work.

Glo met that brief. The formulations are stable, the ingredient lists are honest, and the results are consistent enough to recommend without caveats. Nothing here was chosen for its margin or for how the bottle photographs.

The right routine simply continues what the appointment began.

What sets it apart

What professional-grade skincare actually means.

01

Concentrations that earn their place

A supermarket retinol may well contain retinol. The real questions are whether it is present at a level that does something measurable, and whether it is formulated to survive two years on a shelf without quietly degrading. Glo's approach is concentration-led, then stabilised to hold that strength.

02

Delivery that reaches the right layer

An active is only as useful as the formula carrying it. Professional skincare is built to deliver ingredients into the layers where they act, not to leave them sitting on the surface. It is the difference you notice over six weeks of honest use, rather than on first application.

03

Tested beside treatments, not instead of them

A quarter-century of clinic-only distribution means these products have been used on post-procedure skin, alongside injectables and peels, and judged by practitioners watching the outcome directly. That is a sterner test than a consumer panel, and the range carries its marks.
