This Privacy Policy explains how London Road Aesthetics Ltd, trading as The London Road Clinic ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit or buy from shop.londonroadclinic.com (the "Site"). We are the data controller responsible for your personal information.
We are committed to handling your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number, order details, and account login details if you create an account.
- Payment information: card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card details ourselves.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser information, IP address, and how you use the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).
- Communications: the content of messages you send us by email, phone or web form.

Who we share your information with
We share personal information only with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Shopify — our ecommerce platform and hosting provider.
- Payment providers — to process payments securely.
- DPD — to deliver your orders.
- Klaviyo — to send our marketing and service emails (where you've consented).
- Google — for website analytics and advertising (Google Analytics and Google Ads).
[Meta — add this line if/when you run Meta/Facebook advertising or the Meta Pixel]- Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some of our providers (including Shopify, Klaviyo and Google) are based outside the UK. Where your information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or transfers to countries the UK Government recognises as providing adequate protection.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to make the Site work, to understand how it's used, and to support our marketing:
- Essential cookies — required for the Site, your basket and checkout to function. These are always on.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Marketing cookies — used by Google (and any advertising partners we work with) to measure and improve our advertising, and by Klaviyo to support our email marketing.
Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent. You can accept or reject them, and change your choice at any time, through the "Cookie settings" link in our footer or your browser settings.
Marketing and your choices
We'll only send you marketing emails if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing [email protected]. Opting out of marketing won't stop service messages about orders you've placed.
How long we keep your information
We keep order and transaction records for six years to meet HMRC and accounting requirements. Account information is kept while your account is active. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We don't keep personal information for longer than necessary.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access your information; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to its processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
Children
The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
