A powder format solves the preservative problem, because there is no water in the tub for anything to grow in. What I like here is the pairing: the salicylic works chemically while the jojoba beads work physically, and jojoba beads are round and biodegradable rather than the jagged shell fragments that used to tear skin.

Common questions
The old ones were, when they used crushed shell or stone with sharp edges. Jojoba beads are rounded and roll across the surface rather than scratching it. Paired with a short salicylic contact, this is a considered version of a format that used to deserve its reputation.
Two or three times a week. Use a plain cleanser on the days between. Daily is too much, and if you also use a leave-on acid you should be alternating rather than stacking them on the same day.
No water in the tub means far less preservative is needed, and the acid stays stable until you activate it. It also travels well. Mix a small amount with water in your palm and it foams up as you work it.
It is formulated for the face, but there is no reason it would not work on rough patches elsewhere. Keep it off broken skin and away from the eye area either way.
