This is the one I send people home with after treatment, and the reason is what is not in it. Fragrance-free and dye-free is rarer than the shelf suggests, because most products that claim to be calming still carry botanical aromatics. When skin is already reactive, the safest formula is the one with the shortest list of things that could set it off.

Key actives
| Active | What it does | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Cucumber extractCucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Water | A cooling botanical used to calm the look of redness and refresh the skin. | The cooling is immediate, which matters when skin is uncomfortable rather than only red. |
| Centella asiaticaCentella Asiatica Extract | Also called gotu kola, used to support the skin's barrier and calm reactivity. | Centella is what we lean on across the board when skin is stressed rather than damaged. |
| Indian senna polysaccharideCassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide | A plant sugar that forms a light moisture-holding film across the skin. | It holds water at the surface without an oil or an occlusive, which suits skin that cannot take either. |

Common questions
It carries no fragrance and no dye at all, not even the naturally occurring aromatics from plant oils that most calming products still contain. On reactive skin those aromatics are often the thing causing the problem, so removing them is the whole point of the formula.
Usually yes, and it is often what we suggest. Follow the specific aftercare we gave you first, because the right timing varies by treatment and by how your skin responded on the day. If in doubt, ring us rather than guessing.
You can, as a light sleeping mask on a night when skin is unhappy. It is a gel rather than a cream, so it will not seal in moisture the way a balm does. If your skin is dry as well as reactive, a barrier balm over the top does more.
It is formulated for rosacea-prone skin and the absence of fragrance and dye is why. That said, rosacea is a medical diagnosis with medical treatments, and a mask manages comfort rather than the condition. Worth a proper conversation if you have not had one.
