If you have never done a peel at home, start here and not at Level 2. The mistake I see is people buying the strongest thing available, reacting badly, and deciding peels are not for them. Do this one, see how your skin behaves over the following week, and then decide whether to step up. There is no prize for starting high.

Key actives
| Active | What it does | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Retinol | A vitamin A derivative used to help refine the look of the skin's surface. | Paired with acids in a single session, it is what takes this beyond an ordinary exfoliation. |
| Vitamin C | An antioxidant that supports brightness and a more even-looking tone. | Brightness is what most people notice after a peel, and the vitamin C is a large part of why. |
| Hydroxy acids with niacinamide | Exfoliating acids that loosen the bonds between dead surface cells, with niacinamide to support tone. | The acids do the lifting. The niacinamide is why skin looks calmer afterwards than the acids alone would leave it. |

Common questions
This one is designed for it. It is a Level 1 kit, single use, with the timings and the order printed for you, and the strength is set well below anything used in clinic. Follow the steps and the timings exactly, do a patch test behind the ear first if you are unsure, and do not leave it on longer than 30 minutes hoping for more.
Anywhere between none and five days of light flaking, and both ends of that are normal. How much you shed is not a measure of how well it worked. Do not scrub, pick or exfoliate while it is happening.
Leave three to four weeks. Skin needs the full turnover cycle to recover before you ask it again. More often does not mean faster results, it means a compromised barrier.
Not in the fortnight before. Tell us if you have peeled recently, because it changes what we can safely do on the day. Afterwards, leave four weeks between anything we do in clinic and a peel at home.
