Hydra-Bright AHA Glow Mask is a brightening treatment mask with vegan lactic acid and a peptide brightening complex with licorice and mushroom extracts for a visibly more even, radiant complexion. Part of the Glo Skin Beauty Brighten + Glow range, distributed in the UK and Ireland by Glo Skin Beauty UK & Ireland.

What It Does

A 10-minute glow ritual that helps even out skin tone, improve texture, and visibly refresh radiance. Calming botanicals simultaneously soothe and soften, leaving skin feeling smoother and conditioned after each use. Suitable for all skin types, this mask delivers brighter, more balanced results with regular use.

Key Actives

Vegan Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that gently supports the skin's natural exfoliation process, helping to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, texture, and early signs of ageing. Licorice Root Extract acts as a botanical brightener, helping to even skin tone while soothing the complexion. A Peptide Brightening Complex featuring Tricholoma Matsutake (mushroom) extract and Nonapeptide-1 works to help visibly reduce the appearance of discolouration. Vitamin E rounds out the formula as an antioxidant that helps protect against free radical damage while supporting skin hydration.

Who It Suits

Recommended for all skin types, including normal, dry, oily, and combination skin. Use morning or evening, up to three times a week. The formula contains naturally occurring aromatic compounds from plant oils (including Lavender, Bergamot, Lime, and Geranium) and is free of artificial fragrance; those with fragrance sensitivities should patch-test before first use.

Key Benefits

  • Helps improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and dullness with vegan lactic acid (AHA) at a skin-compatible pH of 3.95–4.95
  • Supports a visibly brighter, more even, and more radiant complexion with a peptide brightening complex and licorice extract
  • Helps condition, soften, and strengthen the skin with calming botanicals and Vitamin E
  • Suitable for all skin types, including those prone to dullness, uneven texture, and early signs of ageing
  • Vegan, PETA cruelty-free certified, and free of artificial fragrance, parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, and talc

A mask is the format people stick with. Ten minutes three times a week is easier to keep up than a nightly acid, and for tone rather than texture it gets you most of the way. I suggest it to people who have bought an exfoliant, used it twice, and left it in the cupboard.

Key actives

Active What it does Why we use it
Vegan lactic acidLactic Acid An alpha hydroxy acid with a large molecule, so it works at the surface rather than travelling deep. At a pH just under 5 this is a gentle exfoliation, which is what makes three times a week reasonable.
Peptide brightening complexNonapeptide-1, Tricholoma Matsutake Extract A peptide paired with a mushroom extract, both used to reduce the look of discolouration. This is the part aimed at tone rather than texture, and it is what separates this from an ordinary exfoliating mask.
Licorice root extractGlycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract A botanical brightener that also calms the skin. It does two jobs at once, which matters in a product that is already exfoliating.

Results take time

First use
Skin looks brighter straight away and feels smooth rather than tight.
Week 3
••
Tone starts to look more even between uses, not only just after one.
Week 6 to 8
•••
Overall clarity holds, and makeup sits better on the days you have not masked.
If nothing shifts

A mask three times a week has a ceiling. If tone is the main concern, a daily active will do more. Come and talk to us.
