GlyPro Retinol Drops is a high-performance resurfacing serum combining retinol, glycolic acid, and gallic acid to support skin cell turnover, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and brighten uneven skin tone. Part of the Glo Skin Beauty Resurface + Smooth range, distributed in the UK and Ireland by Glo Skin Beauty UK & Ireland.

What It Does

The texture and clarity of the skin visibly improves with regular use, pores appear refined, fine lines and wrinkles look softer, and the complexion looks firmer and more even. In an independent clinical study of 31 volunteers (ages 35–53), 90% said skin looks firmer and 90% said skin feels smoother after one month, with 74% reporting visibly improved fine lines and wrinkles.

Key Actives

Retinol (vitamin A) supports cellular turnover, increasing the rate at which new, healthy skin cells replace older ones at the surface, this is the key mechanism behind retinol's well-established visible resurfacing and firming effects. Glycolic acid (an AHA) exfoliates at the skin's surface, helping to refine texture, brighten the complexion, and enhance the penetration of other actives. Gallic acid provides antioxidant and antibacterial support, and helps inhibit tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production, supporting a more even-toned complexion over time. Formula pH: 2.3.

Who It Suits

Not suitable for sensitive skin. Designed for all other skin types. Use PM only, 2–7 times per week. Introduce gradually, begin with 2–3 applications per week and increase frequency as skin builds tolerance. Avoid during pregnancy unless directed by a medical professional. Use SPF in the morning when using this product. Available in 30ml retail and 58ml back bar sizes.

Retinol and glycolic acid together at pH 2.3 is a serious formula, and the people who do badly with it are almost always the ones who went in nightly from day one. Two nights a week for a month. If your skin is quiet on that, go to three. There is no prize for arriving faster.

Key actives

Active What it does Why we use it
RetinolRetinol Vitamin A. Works at the surface to support the appearance of smoother, firmer skin. The best-evidenced topical there is for the look of fine lines. It also has the best-evidenced irritation profile, which is why we pace it.
Glycolic acidGlycolic Acid The smallest alpha hydroxy acid, working at the surface to refine texture and tone. Third on the list, so it is present in earnest. It also helps what follows it absorb.
Gallic acidGallic Acid An antioxidant that also supports a more even-looking tone. It gives the formula a tone benefit on top of the resurfacing.
