Most people who come to us about congestion arrive with five products from four brands and no idea which one is causing the trouble. Stripping back to one matched routine for six weeks tells you more than adding anything else does. These sizes are enough to find that out without spending full price to run the experiment.

Key actives
| Active | What it does | Why we use it |
|---|---|---|
| Salicylic acidSalicylic Acid | A beta hydroxy acid that works inside the pore rather than on the surface of the skin. | It is oil-soluble, so it reaches congestion that water-based acids cannot, and it appears across the cleanser, the drops and the exfoliant. |
| Mandelic acidMandelic Acid | A large-molecule alpha hydroxy acid, so it works slowly and evenly at the surface. | It is the gentler half of the exfoliating pair, which is what makes two or three nights a week reasonable on skin that reacts. |
| NiacinamideNiacinamide | Helps reduce the look of pore size and supports balanced oil production. | It carries on working after the rinse-off steps have gone, and it takes some of the edge off the acids sitting alongside it. |

Common questions
No, and most people who buy it are not going anywhere. It is the cheapest way to run a full four-step routine long enough to see whether it suits your skin. If it does, buy the full sizes of the pieces you got through fastest.
That depends on how heavy-handed you are, so we will give you the frequencies rather than a number we cannot stand behind: cleanser twice a day, exfoliant two or three nights a week on a pad, drops daily, Oil Free Moisturizer twice a day. The sizes are 53, 30, 13 and 22 ml.
Yes, exfoliant first on a pad, then the drops once the skin is dry. Skip the exfoliant on other nights. If skin starts to sting or look shiny-red, cut back to one exfoliating night a week before you drop anything else.
It helps with surface congestion, blackheads and the smaller breakouts that come with excess oil. Deeper, painful, recurring cysts sit below what any topical routine reaches, and they are worth an in-clinic assessment rather than another product.
