C-Shield Eye Restore Hydrator is a brightening eye treatment with vitamin C, peptides, and Rosa Moschata Seed Oil to reduce the appearance of dark circles, firm the eye contour, and protect against environmental dullness. Part of the Glo Skin Beauty Brighten + Glow range, distributed in the UK and Ireland by Glo Skin Beauty UK & Ireland.

What It Does

The skin around the eye area looks visibly brighter, the appearance of dark circles is reduced, and the eye contour looks more rested and firmed with regular use. Puffiness is visibly diminished and the delicate periorbital skin feels nourished and hydrated. An eye treatment that addresses both the appearance of fatigue and the visible effects of environmental stressors on the eye area simultaneously.

Key Actives

Vitamin C is the primary brightening active, working at the eye contour to help even skin tone, reduce the appearance of dark circles, and provide antioxidant protection against pollution and UV-related dullness. Peptides deliver a firming and smoothing signal to the delicate periorbital tissue, helping to improve the appearance of fine lines and crow's feet over time. Rosa Moschata (Rosehip) Seed Oil is a nourishing, fatty-acid-rich botanical oil that supports the skin barrier, conditions the periorbital skin, and delivers additional brightening and regenerative benefit.

Who It Suits

Suitable for all skin types. Use AM and PM. Apply a rice-grain amount and tap around the entire orbital bone, do not rub. Do not apply directly to the eyelid margin. Retail 15ml only.

Key Benefits

  • Vitamin C brightens the eye area and helps reduce the appearance of dark circles, with antioxidant protection against environmental dullness.
  • Peptides help firm and smooth the eye contour and reduce the visible appearance of crow's feet and fine lines.
  • Rosa Moschata (Rosehip) Seed Oil nourishes and conditions the periorbital skin barrier.
  • Addresses both the appearance of fatigue (dark circles, puffiness) and environmental dullness in one formula.
  • Vegan, certified cruelty-free, free of parabens, talc, mineral oil, sulphates, phthalates, artificial fragrance, and gluten.

How to Use

  1. Apply a rice-grain amount, enough for both eyes, to clean skin.
  2. Tap lightly around the entire orbital bone using your ring finger, from inner corner outward beneath the eye and along the upper brow bone. Do not rub.
  3. Use morning and evening.

The choice between the two eye creams comes down to what is bothering you. If it is shadow and dullness, this one, because vitamin C is the brightening active and it is here in a stable ester rather than a form that oxidises in the jar. If it is firmness and crepiness, the EGF cream. Buying both is rarely the right answer.

Key actives

Active What it does Why we use it
Stable vitamin CTetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate An oil-soluble vitamin C ester, more stable than pure ascorbic acid and gentler on thin skin. Around the eye, stability and low irritation matter more than raw strength.
Firming peptidesPalmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 Two peptides used to support the look of firmness and soften the appearance of fine lines. They are the reason this is not only a brightening cream, and why it reads as more rested overall.
Bakuchiol with niacinamideBakuchiol, Niacinamide A plant-derived retinol alternative alongside niacinamide, which supports tone and barrier comfort. Both are here in supporting roles, and both are gentle enough for eyelid skin.

Assess
Circles caused by pigment or by hollowing need different answers, and no eye cream reaches either. Let us look at which yours is.
