How to Use

Apply a rice-grain amount, enough for both eyes, to clean skin.
Lightly tap around the entire orbital bone using your ring finger, working from the inner corner outward along the orbital bone beneath the eye and along the upper lid. Do not rub.

Eye creams are where people waste the most money, so I am careful about which ones I recommend. This one earns it on the formula rather than the packaging. Bakuchiol instead of retinol matters around the eye, because retinol is what causes most of the irritation people give up on. The cold applicator does help with morning puffiness, though that is comfort rather than correction.

Common questions

What is EGF and should I be wary of it?

EGF stands for epidermal growth factor, a signalling protein the skin makes naturally. The version here is made by fermentation rather than taken from any animal or human source, which is what vegan EGF means. It signals renewal at the surface. It is a cosmetic ingredient and it stays in the skin's upper layers.

Is bakuchiol as good as retinol?

It is gentler, and around the eye that is the point. It gives smoothing and firming benefits without the flaking and stinging that make people stop. If you already tolerate a retinol eye product well, you have no reason to switch. If you have tried one and given up, this is the reason to try again.

Does the metal applicator do anything?

It cools the skin, which helps morning puffiness settle. That is a comfort effect and it is temporary. The formula does the lasting work, and you can apply it with a ring finger instead if you prefer.

Can I use it on my upper eyelid?

Yes, tap it along the orbital bone and onto the lid, staying off the lash line. Do not rub. If you wear contact lenses, put them in after the cream has absorbed.
