Brighten and refresh your complexion with the dual-action exfoliation of this skin scrub. Powered by kojic acid, botanical brighteners, plus eco-friendly jojoba beads, it targets tone and texture, for a smoother, more radiant effect.

What It Does

For a radiant start to your day, look to the dual-action exfoliation of this Brightening Polish. Powered by kojic acid—a natural brightener, plus physical jojoba beads, it sloughs away any surface-level debris and dead cells, enhancing the efficacy and absorption of botanical brightening actives. Targeting texture and tone, it helps reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and discolouration, for a smoother, refreshed glow.

Key Actives

  • Kojic acid. A botanical brightener, used here as kojic dipalmitate, a more stable form. It works on the look of uneven tone.
  • Jojoba beads. Biodegradable jojoba esters that lift away dead surface cells. They are smooth and rounded, unlike the sharp edges of a ground-shell scrub.
  • Brightening botanicals. A blend including rumex occidentalis, diacetyl boldine and turmeric root extract, working on dullness and the appearance of uneven tone.
  • Vitamin C. Present as sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable form, alongside niacinamide (vitamin B3) to support clarity.
  • Antioxidants. Indian gooseberry extract, carnosine and vitamin E help calm the complexion and defend against environmental stress.

Key Benefits

  • Brightening: Targeting tone and discolouration issues, it improves clarity for an energised glow.
  • Smoothing: Dual-action exfoliation improves skin’s texture, reducing the appearance of pores and fine lines.
  • Protecting: Infused with antioxidants it helps calm the complexion, protecting against signs of ageing.

Kojic acid works on the enzyme that makes pigment, so it is a tone product rather than a scrub that happens to brighten. Putting it in a polish means the surface is cleared at the same moment the brightener goes on, which is a sensible piece of formulating.

    Key actives

Active What it does Why we use it
Kojic acidKojic Dipalmitate A botanical brightener that helps visibly reduce the appearance of uneven tone and dark marks. The dipalmitate form is more stable in a cream than kojic acid on its own.
Jojoba beadsJojoba Esters, Cellulose Acetate Rounded beads that lift surface debris so the brightening actives reach the skin. Clearing the surface first is what makes the rest of it worth applying.
Botanical brightenersDiacetyl Boldine, Rumex Occidentalis Extract, Niacinamide A group of tone-targeting actives working alongside the kojic acid. Pigment responds better to several mechanisms at once than to one pushed hard.
